Fylde’s 2022-23 season kicks off on Saturday, 6th August, when touring visitors Perthshire RFC play a Fylde XV in a pre-season game at the Woodlands.
A week later, 13th Aug, the Fylde 1st XV welcome neighbours and friends Blackburn to the Woodlands. Blackburn had a successful 2021-22 season in the North Premier division and finished in 3rd place behind promoted Otley and Preston Grasshoppers.
The 1sts then visit National One’s Sale FC at Heywood Road on Saturday, 20th Aug. On the same day, a Fylde XV line-up welcomes touring club Tring to the Woodlands.
The fixtures in the NOWIRUL Leagues have now been issued. The Hawks, Saracens and Vandals compete in the Premier tournament, Division 2 (North) and Division 3 (North) respectively.
The Hawks have an especially peculiar start to the season with six away matches and just one home fixture in the first seven weeks. These are followed by three successive home games.
The opening league matches for the 1sts, Hawks & Saracens are on Saturday, 3rd September. The Vandals kick off a week later on 10th September.
