Team management in 2022-23
The Club is reorganising management responsibilities for the three senior teams below the 1st XV. Dominic Moon is unable to carry on his coaching duties with the Hawks due to business and family reasons. We are looking for a replacement coach and someone to help with the management of the Hawks.
We thank Tony Rawlinson for his role of manager with the Saracens and Vandals and for his services over the past few seasons. Looking ahead we will be taking a new direction with these teams, offering young players more developmental opportunities whilst retaining the traditional input from older players who wish to play the game in a well organised and safe club environment.
Chairman Matt Filipo (pictured above) said: “Many clubs across England have struggled to retain playing numbers post-pandemic. Due to hard work, we are in a better place but have to continue efforts to increase participation. Fylde has over its 100 years always promoted the ‘one club’ ethos where everyone, playing or non-playing, feels welcome and appreciated, and enjoys its unique atmosphere deeply embedded as we are in our local community.”
