Fylde’s former Mini-Junior, Colt, all round sports star at AKS and now 1st XV regular, Tristan Woodman, made his England Under 18s debut in the 2021-22 season. The flanker, now signed up as a member of the Sale Sharks Academy after taking his A levels this summer, took part in England’s Six Nations U18s campaign in early 2022 and was named as the outstanding player of the tournament.
On the basis of this, Tristan has been named by NextGen in a World U’18s 23 player squad chosen from the best young players in New Zealand, Australia, Namibia, South Africa, Ireland, Wales, Scotland & England.
Tristan has been selected in six of Fylde’s National League games so far this season, he’s started in five and has scored four tries. He’s a player of immense promise.
