Fylde make three changes to their starting line-up for the trip to Tynedale on Saturday, 25th Feb (ko 14.00). There’s a welcome return for Tom Carleton who, because of work commitments, has made only six appearances this season, his last game being on 3rd December against Sheffield Tigers at the Woodlands. He’ll be hoping to add to his nine tries to date.

The other starting changes see Scott Rawlings replacing the injured Sam Stott at centre and Henry Higginson returning at flanker. Joe Higgins joins the replacements.

Fylde will make the 130 mile journey to the beautiful Tynedale Park which has not traditionally been a happy hunting ground for the Lancastrians and they will anticipate another tough challenge as they battle for National Two (North) league points. Despite finding the going hard in recent weeks, Fylde are still in lockstep with league leaders Sedgley Park, just a point behind the North Manchester club but having played a game more.

The two Lancastrian clubs are well clear of their rivals, with 2nd placed Fylde 20 league points clear of 3rd placed Hull Ionians. Tynedale are in a comfortable mid-table 7th position but 42 points behind Fylde.
