Fylde squad 2024-25
Fylde announce their extended 1st XV squad for the 2024-25 season. Included are 14 newcomers amongst the 36 players. There are 20 forwards named and 16 backs.
The newcomers (and their positions) are Chris Rudkin (1), Tom Davis (2), Olly Trippier (1/2/3), Charlie Smith (4/5), Greg Morgan (4/5/6/8), Lewis Quinn (6), Ben Dorrington (7), Mike Walton (8); Alex Gaughan (9), Lewis Kincart (9), Patrick Bishop (10), Tom Armstrong (12), Owen Fisher (13/14) & Lucas Atherton (10/15).
Today is the last break before the beginning of the season, next Saturday, when they travel to Sheffield RUFC at Abbeydale Park. They play eight successive fixtures before a rest weekend on 2nd November. It could hardly be a tougher start as their opponents had a fine 2023-24 season and they finished 3rd in National Two (North).
