Fylde make four changes in their starting line-up for the trip to Billingham on Saturday (ko 14.00). This is a re-scheduled match that should have been played on the 10th Jan but fell foul to ice and snow in the North East.
There’s a very welcome return for lock forward Matt Garrod who makes his first appearance this season following injury. Also in the pack Matt Ashcroft slots into the backrow.
Amongst the backs, local talent Dan Slawson makes his starting debut for the Club in the influential no 10 role whilst Ben Turner is at fullback.
Amongst the replacements, scrum-half Alex Gaughan returns to the squad an maks his first appearance this season and back five cover is provided by Max Senior. Interesting to note that the highly successful Lancashire U’20s last season is represented in the Fylde squad by Slawson, Senior, Will Greenwood and Gabe Maguire.
