The make-up of National Two (North) in 2022-23 has just been announced by the RFU. The number of clubs at levels 3 & 4 are reduced from 16 to 14. This produces 26 games per season so we’re losing two home games and two away matches during the campaign.

Hull RUFC is promoted to National One and Loughborough Students, Luctonians, Stourbridge & Bournville move to National Two (West).

Promoted from level 5 are Preston Grasshoppers, Otley and Sheffield RUFC.

The geographical breakdown of N2(N) is:

North East: Blaydon & Tynedale

Yorkshire: Harrogate, Hull Ionians, Huddersfield, Otley, Rotherham Titans, Sheffield Tigers, Sheffield RUFC, Wharfedale

North West: Chester, Fylde, Preston Grasshoppers, Sedgley Park
