Whilst Fylde’s 1st XV compete in National League 2 (North), the Club’s other three senior teams play in the Halbro North West Intermediate Rugby Union Leagues (NOWIRUL) system.
Whilst the reduction in playing participation across England remains a major challenge for the sport at the so called ‘community’ level, the NOWIRUL leagues are still an important route to well organised playing opportunities in our region.
FYLDE HAWKS play in the Premier League, a 12 team division as are the great majority of the 12 leagues making up the 2023-24 structure.
FYLDE SARACENS, who had the most startling success last season, move from Division 2 (North) to Division 1. The Sarries lost their opening game last season but then went on an amazing run of 17 successive victories to become champions, and followed this up by another three wins in the Trophy competition to take that silverware too.
FYLDE VANDALS compete in a new Division 3/4 (North) league.
