Fylde make six changes in their starting line-up for the visit of Otley RUFC to the Woodlands (ko 15.00). There’s a very welcome return to the action for centre Sam Stott who has been dreadfully unlucky with injuries, initially at Wharfedale in mid-February with a horrible facial fracture which finished his 2022-23 season. Recovered fully, he played in the pre-season game at Blackburn in August and fractured his fibula. So very good luck Sam!
Other changes see the return of Tom Carleton, Tom Forster, Will Wootton, Peter Altham, and the starting debut of Sale Sharks Academy lock Tom Burrow.
Amongst the replacements there’s also a welcome return of another injury victim Scott Rawlings for his first game of the season and a debut for former Tarleton backrower Rob Williamson who has put in some impressive performances for Fylde Hawks.
The Hawks are also in action at the Woodlands when they welcome Lymm 2nds in a NOWIRUL Premier match (ko 14.15).
