Some 20 years ago a powerful young man made his senior debut for North Staffordshire club Longton RFC in his native Potteries. He eventually joined Manchester in the national leagues, back to Longton, then Caldy, Fylde (2014-16), Sale FC and finally back to Fylde (2016 to date)

Approx 190 games for Longton, 151 for Fylde, 109 for Manchester, Caldy & Sale FC = 450 in all

Plus County rugby for Staffordshire, Lancashire & England Counties.

He calls it a day at the Woodlands tomorrow in his last ever senior rugby match, or so he says! SCOTT RAWLINGS is a big character in all respects, on and off the pitch. The very popular and skillful centre three quarter – a true friend of the M6 travelling from his Staffordshire home to the Lancashire Coast so frequently – will be a huge loss for Fylde.

Everybody, not only at Fylde but from other clubs and the North West rugby community, will wish him well and thank him for his tremendous service to our great sport!

Good luck Scotty!
