We are very, very sad to report the death of one of the Club’s (and rugby union in the North West’s) greatest ever volunteers, players, referees, officials and all round good eggs. Allan Townsend died in the Blackpool Victory Hospital at 02.30 this morning at the age of 90. This is a huge blow to everyone who knew him and enjoyed his company over many years.
