“Where’s Fairy?” This was the question on a lot of spectators’ lips on Saturday at the Woodlands. The answer is that he was representing ‘the Classic Lions’ in the 36th Annual World Rugby Classic tournament in Bermuda.
He’s pictured here in ‘Classic Fairy’ mode in the Lions match against the South African Legends. As with most contests these days, the Boks ran out victors but a subsequent win against the Italian Classic XV put the Lions into the Plate Final where they beat a ‘Classic Irish’ team. The South Africans won the Classic Final by beating ‘Classic Canada’.
