We are very sad to report the death of former Club President Graham Sharman, 88. He was associated with the Mini-Junior Section for many years before taking over the President’s role from the indefatigable Peter Makin in 2000 and he served in this capacity until 2002.
A successful businessman, Graham brought his commercial experience to the Club and played an important part in increasing sponsorship and revenue in the late 1990s. He moved south to be closer to his children in the 2000s but maintained a keen interest in the Club’s fate thereafter.
