Lancs name squad for critical County Championship game v Yorkshire

Lancashire travel to Hull Ionians’ Ground at Brantingham Park on Saturday (16th May, ko 15.00) for the second leg of their Bill Beaumont County Championship contest against Yorkshire. A trip to the Allianz Stadium Twickenham in early June is at stake for the winners who will face either Cornwall or Kent who contest the Southern semi-final. Lancashire take a lead of 20 points to Ionians’ Ground from the first leg at Fylde last Saturday which they won by 38-18. Only the foolish would believe that such a points advantage is any kind of guarantee of reaching the Final.
