Fylde’s 1st XV/Hawks squad travel to Sandbach for pre-season warm-up

Fylde have joined Sandbach RUFC’s pre-season Senior Rugby Festival ahead of the opening of the National Two (North) 2026-27 league campaign which begins on Saturday, 5th September. They had agreed to a request to entertain Kelso RFC at the Woodlands for a pre-season fixture but the Scottish Borders club subsequently pulled out of the game. The Sandbach Tournament on Saturday, 15th of August, includes Northern clubs such as Wharfedale, Wirral and Bowden and Welsh clubs Caernarfon, Mold and Ruthin. Details of the Fylde squad making the trip to Cheshire will follow this coming week. After a number of weeks training at AKS, the squad returned to the Woodlands on Thursday evening.
